as a jw we believed he was in power after 1914 .

do other religions believe he rules or will rule "invisibly"?.

and if he is in power, what do you think of his job performance so far?.

Hi Candidly,

I think Jesus is returning visibly, and audibly.. As the sword comes out of his mouth. To me that fullfills the scripture..in

Is. 11:4B 'And he must strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit of his lips he will put the wicked one to death.'

So, people would hear him speak..in judgement.

I think the reason he always arrives 'in a cloud'.. is because his identity is hidden or fogged over.. at first. As Rev. 19:12B says..

'He has a name written that no one knows but he himself. '

I also think his coming does cover a period of time.. the parousia, or presence or (great tribulation) (not an instantaneous event)

I think his job wouldn't be to help people deliver WT and AW's, but to expose the corruption in a judgemental type of way.. and to take down the evil system.. as shown in

Ps. 110:5....will certainly break kings to pieces on the day of his anger. He will execute judgement among the nations. .....

Unfortunately, I think, it will only happen when Jesus comes and judges and establishes pure religion.. Yes, I think it will take that, to bring them down..

Hello KW13,

I'm thinking...#1 that the slave would be giving spiritual food to the domestics, (or ones already in the household of God).

#2 that the slave would all be united as one, or an individual. (I would say, considering the context, all, united as one)

I do believe there are 2 groups of christians with one hope, (the earth)...So, I'm inclined to believe the slave would be the 144,000, all united together in Christ, and concerned with the sharing of the good news with one another.

The evil slave would have to be the ones who got power hungry and oppressive to their fellow slaves.. like the GB as a group.

How do you say good-bye?

my doctor called me today and told me i have a very aggressive case of colon cancer.

i go back on monday for more tests and maybe surgery and chemo i don't know.

my partner is a total mess over this and he is all i have.

Dear Gary,

I have stage 3 breast cancer.. I did have a radical, modified mascectomy.. but I am not going for the chemo and radiation.. I've decided to go with the holistic..

I have read a little bit on how cancer cannot survive in a alkaline body. It has to have a acidic body to spread.

This is supposed to be true.. and getting a clean colon is an enormous help.. I've been making vegetable juice, (supposed to every day) . Up to a quart..

I like Unique's advice:

I say give him your email address and go on your merry way, especially if you are happier that way. My parents not speaking to me has actually been a blessing in disguise.

But then again...You have to go where the spirit leads you... And Auld Soul is right.. It's your call.. and you have to do what you can take or can't take.. But, Jesus' advice.. about turning the other cheek.. is good. We don't want them to somehow turn it around that, we were the mean ones..

The ideal christian church should be how?

the wts claims that it is the true christian religion but it obviously isn't, it is a heartless business more than anything else.

but how do imagine the true religion to be?

it obviously should be very spiritual but how exactly is this to be manifested in its life?

Ideal Church? Well, really ideal, would have to be in the new world. Without the men and women in the fallen flesh... and with Jesus in person, telling us exactly how to run things.. Now it's a hopeless, mess of power struggles and backstabbing.. and divisions..

Waiting and hoping for the day to come.. and in the meantime, I just do very small home studies..

Recieved copy of Michigan Apostate Letter today

today i received the letter sent to all the elders in michigan that our friend outaservice was referring to a few days ago.

i was planning on scanning it and putting it up on the jwd.

but the print if very, very tiny and my hubby (who knows how to scan) said it will be very hard to see.

Is abortion an unforgivable sin?

hi all i'm a newbie with a question:.

please ban you tell me if an unbaptized publisher has an abortion is this an unforgivable sin?.

what would happen to the publisher if another jw reports them or they confess since they are not baptized?.

Hi and welcome...

And unbaptized publisher would no doubt be taken off the 'unbaptized publishers' list and then no longer be an 'approved associate'. An 'approved associate' is only someone who is an 'unbaptized publisher' or baptized. JW lingo there.

Is abortion an unforgivable sin? To the elders... (who cares?)

to God...? It's a matter of research... If, after an individual, researches the bible.. and comes to the conclusion it is a serious sin..and then does it... God could look down on that.

But if a person, researches it and comes to the conclusion that it's not really bad.. and then does it.. well, he doesn't think it's a serious sin, so his heart is okay.. and God only judges the heart.

That's the way I see it, anyways....
